Recipe for the most delicious homemade bath salt with epsom salt and herbs
You will need:
- 500g epsom salt (magnesium salt)
- 1 dl optional herbs (e.g. chamomile, lavender, rose or peppermint)
- 2 drops of essential oil (e.g. our fragrance oil Summer Garden )
How to make easy bath salts full of good properties
1
Mix 500g epsom salt and 500g Himalayan salt together in a large bowl and crush any lumps with your hands.
2
Add 1 dl of optional herbs and a few drops of fragrance oil. We love using our laundry scent Summer Garden with a delicious calming scent of lavender and lemon verbena. Mix it all together well with your hands.
3
Fill your homemade bath salts in an airtight container where moisture cannot get in - e.g. on glass, which you can decorate with a nice label.
4
Thats it! Super easy and fast. We hope you will enjoy your new bath salt for a relaxing time.
Tip: Use approx. 1/2 - 1 dl. bath salt for a foot bath, depending on the size of the tub. Fill the tub or bathtub with warm water and stir well until the salt is roughly dissolved. Sit with your feet or body in the water for at least 20 minutes, so that the salt's good minerals can be absorbed into the body.
